No save transfer from part 1, you only get Leviathan and Ramuh with save data.

Figured, it wouldn’t make sense for people to bring over their max level characters with ultimate weapons and materia. Thats why my complaint was that it didn’t feel like they designed the game to be a trilogy which was one of my biggest problems with it.

They should have had a hard level cap for part 1

shyts so disjointed and stupid. Really wish they would have just made a simple remake with better graphics:francis:

I'm fine with this. I rather a huge remake rather than a RE4 type of remake that would've been over a long time ago.
Totally disagree.

The ReRemake games are the gold standard for remakes in my opinion. Still kept the spirit and feel of the OG titles, just bring them into to modern world with controls and graphics.

A FF game approached in that way right now would do crazy numbers.

Right. If they would've went in with 3 games in mind from the start, they could've just level capped at like 30 or 35 for each game. And definitely could have had the stats carry over. And if you like the 1 person in the world that would have this game and not the first, then they could just start you at level 30 with some base, non-missable materia/abilities from the first game.

I think it's already doing crazy numbers as is tho.

This irks me tbh, I get why but man. Could be a pretty epic experience with stats and items and equipment carrying over.

I thought for sure this is how it would go.

I remember reading last year that stuff wasn't going to carry over and was hoping that would change or wasn't factual, ah well.

They could have pulled off a mini "Mass effect" experience.

Still day 1 and taking time off to play it though

:blessed:
