As someone who never really played the OG classics which of these should I jump into first? I know that damn near a blasphemous statement but my psx rpg go to's were Chrono Cross/Trigger, Breath of Fire 4 and Legend of Dragoon. I liked the weird shyt

Personally speaking 9 and 12 are my favorite, 7 is up there also but something about it’s over saturation over the years has made me not has excited about it. It’s still the most popular final fantasy for a reason though

I agree on X-2s battle system bein the best version of the ATB system in the entire series.n the garment grid aka job system was good too. That story tho



8 was trash story, trash battle system, trash characters. Only thing it did better than 7 was have better graphics and Triple Triad minigame.
