Oh if that's the case go find one that's certified pre-owned.. Truthfully a new 16/17 is likely still going to be a bad deal as the dealers typically only write them down so much

That's crazy if you're still seeing 17s new, I don't even have any 18s left lol

A 16 base should be in the low 20s

No doubt... I’d prefer a Dodge Challenger hellcat but most of the used ones I gotta assume the previous owners beat the shyt out of them.. Brand new and the dealer ain’t budging on incentives...

My next car will be a 2010-14 Prius with like 50-70k miles.
fukk the rat race, pocket watching and stunting, I just want a low maintenance car that I can pay off in half a year. Reliability and being gas efficient are a premium for me.
Be wary of the battery in those hybrids.. Replacing them is a couple stacks or more..

Facts.... however those battery’s last at least 10 yrs 100k..

My boy copped a used 2010 GMC Yukon Denali hybrid with like 150k miles on it for about 10 stacks.. he just replaced the battery pack for 4k from the dealer.. he said that shyt gonna last another 10 yrs 100k miles..

He said he’s easily getting 600 miles on one tank doing road trips and avg 22mpg city driving

That’s crazy for a full shyt suv that’s a v8

As referenced in the title, I've narrowed my first car down to 3 (5, It's 5...) cars: a 2016 Toyota Corolla LE, a 2016 Honda Civic EX-L, a 2016 Nissan Versa, a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, or a 2014 Ford Fiesta. I'm gonna put $4,500 down and keep some racks in savings for the registration, smog checks, and any other fees that need to be paid.

My personal top 5:
  1. Corolla/ $11,900 with 22k miles
  2. Sonic/ $8,000 with 24k miles
  3. Civic/ $12,000 with 44k miles
  4. Versa/ $8,500 with 36k miles
  5. Fiesta/ $9,700 with 7k miles
I hit up Progressive for a quote, and they recommended that I get the "$289 for 5 months" plan. I'm gonna hit up USAA tomorrow and see if they can get me a better deal.
civic or corolla since they are bulletproof

Damn you still ain’t bought a car?

What you been doing, carpooling with other Bron stains?

Anyway, I gotta see the carfaxes on all of those. They all sound feminine af BUT the newer car with the lesser miles is always a more solid choice... especially if tgey can come down on price.

What are you putting down? Interest rate? Are you buying off private seller or from dealership? Are you using Navy Fed/USAA or the dealer giving you a low interest rate?
Kobe stans still ain't got over their team being hijacked, I see:mjgrin:.

I'm gonna check the carfax later on. I'm actually planning on getting a car next month.

  • I'm putting down $4,500-$5000.
  • Since this is my 1st car and I only have 6 months of credit history, I'm probably gonna get hit with a 9% apr:mjcry:.
  • I'm going through NavyFed for the loan, and USAA for the insurance.
  • I'm buying from a dealer. Private sellers seem mad scummy to me...

Honda and Toyota still the tops but they are just so overpriced IMO now. shyts are crazy. Nissan has about the best value. I sold a couple Jukes and them shyts were straight....4x4, turbo up to 215hp (by far the most in a vehicle its size/class), sunroof, power outside locks, 3 driving modes, and this is all in the SV version! I was going to buy a 2018 Ridgeline for resale, man, that truck is $40k and it was the most unimpressive interior/dash I have seen in a while.
I drove my friend's 2018 Sentra, and this shyt was so smooth, breh :wow:. The handling was nice and the pedals weren't overly-sensitive and shyt.

Only thing I disliked about it was that it felt "cheap" when I got it up to 80 (in a 60 mph zone:mjgrin:).

Edit: That, and it's exterior and overall look didn't move me.

Team got hijacked and turned into a toilet bowl:mjlol:

You still with this high ass down payment? How much do you have in savings?

If dealership gives you lower interest rate take the dealership and eventually refinance.

And you still have only 6 months of credit??

In savings? I'll have around 8K when I'm ready to buy. Yeah, I'm still new to credit.
