I know @MartyMcFly and I can't be the only nerds on here who listen to podcasts.

I really only listen to the /film podcast. That one is my favorite. They're great at articulating why they like/dislike a film.

I follow a lot of others in my podcast app but don't really listen to them.

I don't like ones that sound like old men on AM talk radio.

A recent one i found on "It Follows" the guy said "I like it a lot....i like it a lot" :francis:

Enlighten us brehs, drop your favorites.

The only non comedy orientated film podcast I listen to is the Kermode and Mayo podcast by the BBC

I mess with Alias Smith and LeRoi - I believe they were the showrunners on Everybody Hates Chris. I got into it recently and really dig it. The episode with Tichina Arnold is hilarious.

How Did This Get Made with Paul Scheer and Jason Matzoukas is a good podcast about terrible movies

Fan Bros is a TV/movie/comic book podcast from a Black perspective with BenHaMeen from Combat Jack. They put me up on Orphan Black, but I had to stop listening because they spoiled a bunch of shows for me before I got to the episode.

Podcast Juice is a network run by some brothers based all over th US. They do films occasionally, as well as music and current events.

That's all the ones I can think of. I listen to a gang of comedy ones as well.

Firewall & Iceberg for TV previews and reviews
Hollywood Prospectus (Grantland's Andy Greenwald & Chris Ryan) & Andy Greenwald's podacst for TV
Watch the Thrones is the Game of Thrones only pod recently started by Andy and Chris from Grantland. Very good in depth talk about the most recent ep, and themes from the book/show without spoilers.
Used to listen to Talking TV w/ Ryan & Ryan but it wasn't really my thing, and I feel like the above two more match my tastes.

I don't really like movies that much, I'm much more of a TV dude, so I only like movie podcasts where they shyt on bad/so-bad-they're-good movies, so:

How Did This Get Made
is probably the funniest, especially the ones in front of a live audience
We Hate Movies is probably the best one, and more consistent (every Tuesday). They literally go through the movie from start to finish so you really feel like you've watched it with 'em.
The Flop House is probably the nerdiest (since it's done by two Daily Show writers and their boy). They don't go as in depth in the movies they're talking about, so my least fav.

:snoop: I don't why I never listen to the Hollywood Prospectus (Grantland's Andy Greenwald & Chris Ryan) podcast.

Their podcast isn't as comprehensive as F&I. It's pretty much two dudes who grew up together, one's a TV reviewer, the other is just an overall nerd too, so they don't cover ALL TV, Movies, Music etc. Just shyt they like.

And the shyt they're fans of varies.

Two white dudes from Philly who love Freeway and early 2000's mixtape rap, Kendrick, Drake, read mad books (which I don't), indie movies (which I hate lol), Game of Thrones, Mad Men, shytting on NBC's The Slap etc.

You'll find yourself not giving a fukk about some of what they talk about, but just listening to two dudes who have their own references and shyt is cool.

Last ep, I listened to them talk about an episode of Grey's Anatomy for 15 minutes - a show I've never seen and only 1 of them watches, but it was hilarious.

Flop House will often do a current bad movie like Boy Next Door, but again, not too in depth. It's an hour+ podcast, but only the first half (and the half I listen to) is about the actual movie. The back half is recommendations and fan letters etc.
How Did This Get Made covers mostly general-consensus bad movies, and sometimes will shy away from current shyt since all 3 of them are current and working actors so they don't wanna piss people off.
We Hate Movies will often do obsucre/poor performing movies and they have a rule that a movie has to be 10 years or older.

The Slashfilm is/was decent
I've never understood the love How Did This Get Made gets. It's always a shallow discussion and jokes about movies most people think are bad and offer no original thoughts.
