While The Witch and The Lobster are good films they are from early 2015. In fact in two days it will have been two years since The Witch came out. We play by release year rules, not the Oscar rules.

Any list with those films with those films will not be counted @SilverSamurai @in the NICK of time

I call bullshyt on The Witch. Unless you saw it in the festival circuit, it was literally impossible to see it in 2015 since its theatrical run (in any country) started in 2016. It should count as a 2016 film, no matter what the fukk you think, breh.

Matter of fact @StraxStrax , I'm one starring and boycotting this thread until you fukking change that bullshyt rule and you'll catch a neg by the end of February 25th if you tryna play hardball.

@FlyRy @MartyMcFly

Listen, breh. Whether you like it or not, there's always gonna be a big overlap between years with some movies because of their (worldwide) release schedules. That's just the reality of the matter. You can think it's silly (which I'll say in some cases, it is, see Snowpiercer back in '14) but to outright say you can't vote for them is some utter bullshyt.

And it's not just about those two movies, I have at least two more movies up for a possible top 10 spot that fall in the same situation of having a minor release in '15 but got their worldwide release in '16. Again, that's just the result of the way movies are distributed worldwide.

What if you've seen a shytload of movies but don't ink there's 10 you deem worthy of being put on the list :ld:
Deadpool was good as hell and I was surprised at the humor and how much I liked it.
10 Cloverfield Lane was another I thought was great. John Goodman tho :hubie:

These movies will keep gettin votes, but since I can't come up with 10 they won't count :francis:

Honestly it's been a slow Year for me. I haven't stressed myself out to watch the Oscar nominated movies. I will see them.eventually but I wasn't tryna pay n all that and I gotta say it's been satisfying because I really enjoyed the films I did see. That's new.

1. Rogue One
2. CA: Civil War
3. Jungle Book
4. Zootopia
5. Conjuring 2
6. Deadpool
7. 10 Cloverfield Lane
8. Everybody Wants Some!!
9. The Witch
10. Sausage Party

Still need to see Fences Jackie and Hidden Figures before I make my list.

Jackie
Handmaiden
Krisha
Toni Erdmann
Aquarius
Elle

Those are the ones I'm wanting to watch before finalizing anything. And some docs, though I don't rank them on the same list.
