How it is now is the mod puts up threads he's personally interested in.
In the last....let's say year....95% of the threads I stickied I don't post in or check for. Most shows I've never seen a single episode of.
"The Walking Dead", "Mad Men", "Ballers", "Power", "Banshee", "Empire","Tyrant", "Homeland", "Arrow", "Green Lantern", hell....too many to even remember because I don't watch them. That includes stuff like the Anime thread and Netflix, too.
Occasionally I put up an "unpopular" thread. Sometimes they hit, like "The Raid" or "Predestination". Other times they don't, like "Hannibal". Sometimes I'm interested in them, like those three. Other times I'm not, like "Tyrant".
That will continue to happen, because the vast majority don't seem to have a problem with it. I tried to listen to the vocal minority and the resounding response was to them. I'm not doing it again. If cats aren't happy here, or how the site is run, or who is mod, I wish them all the best of luck in their future 'deavors on whatever message board they choose to bounce to.
