My thoughts on Star Wars being the winner:
Star Wars has shaped pop culture and cinema as a whole. The form of story telling it created, he opening, the screen wipes (not sure if that’s the proper term,) and lastly: the cast. When you can cast so many actors together and 40 years after the first film’s relased EVERYONE is still a Hollywood treasure that says a lot.

Star Wars has made in impact on pop culture that there is a 6 degrees of Star Wars, literally it possible to connect anything to it. And let’s add that almost everything has referenced it. As a person who hasn’t seen the og Star Wars, but can still keep up speaks volumes.

Oh yea and at C2e2 today I have R2D2 pull up to me tryin to test my gangsta. It got real close to me too :pacha: maybe cause I wasn’t in legit cos-play.

Yeah but this represents mostly everything everyone picked. Mostly. A few didn't make the cut obviously but that runs the full spectrum of everyone's picks, which satisfies everyone so their favorites can shine, and also makes it so these 2nd round matchups aren't foregone conclusions.
