i haven't heard about or listened to a nipsey hussle song in like a year

he's officially mixtape rapper with 0 buzz...nobody outside of the internet ever heard of him

Seen him @ paid dues a couple weeks back and his set was completely jam packed with everybody rapping along to his shyt. i was about 50 yards back and still could barely see him onstage. yea, I'd say a person or 2 prolly still might check for him.

if you remember, he signed that deal over at Warner in December... and literally a week later, Warner axed their entire urban music dept. and sent it to Atlantic.

since December, you haven't really heard shyt from any of the people signed to Warner, or Atlantic.

it's like y'all forgot that ever happened, and that it's been quiet for the entire label....Wiz album was the last shyt that they pushed, and they stopped pushing his shyt a while ago.

it really makes zero business sense to drop Victory Lap, when the label isn't pushing anything right now.

It's a mixtape though not an album

on the Crooked I comparison, to be fair to Nipsey actually has projects i enjoy that isn't freestyles, unlike Crooked I.

i'm a fan of Nipsey, but he is easy to forget about...Victory Lap has to be great or atleast on par wit the Marathon.
