off the top of my head

Sergio Mora vs. Shane Mosley, I thought Mora was going to outwork Mosley and become a gatekeeper people watched.
Abraham vs. Froch, thought Double A had it
Pavlik vs. B-Hop
Abner Mares vs. Jhonny Gonzalez
Mike Avlarado vs. Brandon Rios I

tua vs rahman 2..i put bucks on a 2nd round KO..i was pissed and snorted my brains out with few dudes and chicks in a hotel. what a filthy and disgusting night.

that shyt was a draw..you put money on your kinfolk right? for some odd reason tua had issues with rahman..i mean in their first fight hasim gave him the business until he got hit with the punch after the bell (:youngsabo:)..the second fight though i thought rahman soundly outboxed him and gave him the first (unofficial) KD on his career..that was no draw in any way

i thought he could have circled more too much starting and stopping and staying on the ropes. hopkins lacks the power and the workrate but chad doesnt want to throw unless he can throw a perfect punch and if hopkins doesnt have the workrate at this point he could have circled more to make chad have even less instead of giving him an excuse to throw by laying on the ropes or just standing in front of a younger bigger fighter in the center of the ring

Speaking of dawson and fight predictions I was wrong about
Dawson-Pascal pissed me off thoroughly. I expected Chad to box Pascal's ears off on a way to decision or a mid to late stoppage. I did not expect Chad fighting listlessly and Pascal outworking him and staggering him mutiple times. If that wasn't bad enough the worst was Chad getting Pascal on the verge of being ko'ed like 3 times during the fight and then he would back off and let Pascal recover. shyt had me :mindblown: like " :damn: you don't like knocking a nikka out my nikka"..I don't remember if I bet money on this shyt though but nevertheless Chad was on the verge knocking out Pascal again in that 11th round i think before the fight was stopped on that cut.

Nah, I thought Pernell would win and I thought he actually did but he was robbed. I didn't pick Chavez to win. I remember half the people in the Bed Stuy Boxing gym where I just started training picked Pernell to win because of his defense and smarts and the other half pick Chavez because he was that niqqa. I remember people (white people and media) wanting Pernell to lose because he was making fighters look bad and embarrassing them. I actually thought Chavez was a damn robot, this dude was NICE and gave no shyts, I was shook of Pernell losing but I knew he would win.

Now Mugabi and Hagler, I remember clear because it was the first fight on Showtime and that was huge in my family of sports. Pop dukes, uncles and my cousins was all watching the fight, I was the only one saying Mugabi would win and they ALL was like :stopitslime:........until the fight started. Mugabi was doing his thing and everybody was like :ohhh: And me being the young dude I was feeling myself like :shaq:, niqqas started saying Mugabi was going to win and he was looking good until the middle of the fight when Hagler took over. It was dumb to pick Hagler but if anybody was to beat him it would be the Beast from Uganda. I remember yelling to the TV:sadcam: "Mugabi........pretend like your kids are starving like the other Africa kids and you have to win to feed them!!" Them kids starved that night! Watching the fight in these times I still felt he could've and should've won. He went to shambles after that loss. Thomas broke his eye socket but I remember hm coming back and getting a belt only to get dropped by Terry Norris and Gerald McClellen in the first rounds (ashamed what happen to Gerald later on). I really don't know the whole public's perception because it was a different time and boxing wasn't really covered like today, I went on the opinions of my family and the older dudes at the boxing gym, dudes my age wasn't really into boxing heavy like I was :manny:
