A lot of ATC is about confidence, and someone giving you chit or doing something that makes your job harder gets people upset

There’s a very loud, but small, segment of ATC that are straight a$$holes.

In a tower facility, there isn’t the same number of controllers compared to a Center or TRACON. Like 200+ in a Center, and 15-30 in a tower.

So if you’re stuck with an a$$hole, it’s gonna make work life terrible

“Meet me by the flagpole!” has been talked about so many times in the past at my facility. There were legit stories of people throwing hands on break, then going to grab a beer together after a shift

I’ve never put my hands on anyone, but I’ve def told some people off. Most of them were actually people I’m really close with

Whoever snitched to the news about this is a coward tho

If this happens this is the last thing you want out there. I’m sure nikkas take a shot or smoke some weed before shift. Tell someone that you are an Air Traffic controller and let them catch you with a blunt at a party and see if a hater won’t try to get you fired.
