Cold to say.. My buddy believes that she was raped... I didnt' tell him that I think she's lying trying to cover it.


It's sad how things work.

Even if she was raped, her having dudes over in the first place was reason enough to dump her.

But just on a human and friendship level, its pretty cruel to leave someone right after something traumatic like this happens to them. Assuming she did get raped. I don't think there's any worse violation you can do to anyone than to violate them sexually. And since they were engaged they obviously were very close and have probably shared almost everything together emotionally. I would break up with her (maybe not to her face but definitely would emotionally cut ties) but I would help her get through the therapy and once she was mentally in a better space then tell her I'm moving on.

Now that I read that back that may be more cruel than just dumping her outright.
