Your teams front office is making plays for sure this offseason, but here is a quick reminder

Clearly was a zone, and the safety didn't get over to help

Either way I doubt the Cowboys will be an issue next year

They took such a massive step backwards this offseason. Lost more than they gained talent wise. Had arguably the worst draft in the whole league. Reiterated that the team runs through Zeke despite the poor man's Trent Richardson that he's become

I'd be more worried about Jerry driving to the stadium than I would the Cowboys on the field tbh

I cant see smileys or quotes due to this fukked up message board.

He’s best suited as a high end CB2. Him & Slay are a nice pair. Y’all receivers aren’t even scary. Dak about to look like Quincy Carter next season lol

If Hurts is a league avg passer, we run through the division

Damn, I take a little break from the Coli, come back, and they updated the site… :ohhh:

There’s been some talk out there, especially after the Bradberry signing, that the Eagles are a contending roster. I love the moves they’ve made this offseason but I’m not there yet. Until they’ve settled the QB question, I still think this team is another year away.

The main goal of the team 2022 should be to win the NFC East and maybe win a playoff game. The Eagles were never a serious threat to the Cowboys in 2021, and were never going to beat Tampa Bay in the playoffs. So that has to change in 2022. The Cowboys are still NFCE favorites, obviously, but they’ve taken a step back and the Eagles have gotten better.

With the roster they've built It's imperative that they get an answer on Jalen this season. You don't draft DeVonta 10th overall, extend Goedert, trade #18 & #101 for AJB and immediately extend him, etc - unless you plan on getting those guys the ball, and the only way to do that is through the air. The passing game has to take a significant step forward to where it can compete with good teams, and to do that you've gotta be able to come from behind.

If Jalen plays well enough to where they feel comfortable negotiating an extension then they can take advantage of the dirt cheap 4th year on his deal. IE : Let's say he has such a good season that they land on a 4y/156m extension (39m annually right behind Dak, Stafford and Carr), in reality it's 5y/158m when you add it to his 2023 cap hit (31m annually overall which makes him 13th highest paid). That kind of flexibility is 100% what Howie wants.

I don't see them entertaining a Dak situation where they let Jalen play out the final year of his deal in 2023 and then if he kills it they're forced to tag him and play that game of cat and mouse. Either he earns an extension after 2022, he doesn't and they make their move for a rookie or they go after a Stafford/Wilson type vet with a year or two left on their deal so they can extend him and manipulate the cap hits.

We will draft his replacement next year if jalen is subpar.
