I think us losing the 2 front office guys has something to do with changing up our draft strategy
I was sure we were letting Barnett go...now I think his role will be simplified and we'll build elsewhere

Like the idea of the eagles flipping one of the first for a future first and this year being a make or break year evaluating Jalen with the future draft capital to look at QBs in the next draft

Yeah this is an easy one to like everything about
Still young, coming off a career year, fits a need badly, and is only $5 mill?
That's 100% what Howie wants to do, but you need a dance partner to flip one of those 2022 1s for a 2023. We'll see how the board shakes out and if someone wants to trade up in that 15-19 range, hopefully someone calls and he can get it done.
It's about context, giving him the extension Sweat got would've been stupid, but they made the right choice on that one.
Bringing him back for chump change is a quality move, even if he's on everyone's shyt list for the dumbass penalties. Barnett as your 3rd or 4th best pass rusher is a really good rotation and mirrors what we had in our Super Bowl window.

Draft Lloyd, then take an edge in r2 or 3...allow him to develop as a rotational DE
Travon Walker would be perfect for this team but I know he's not falling to 15

I dislike Barnett as much as everyone but if he aint making 10M and he is the 4th DE, I can live with it- I am pretty sure the contract is low bc the numbers werent reported, agents love to brag when their guys get paid- its almost like the agent is scared to tell

Where you at with the corners in this draft?
I'd say at this point its pretty clear we're taking one early.
Out of the guys I think are a realistic possibility, I'd have em
1) Stingley
2) Elam ( he's my sneaky favourite)
3) Mccreary (probably low ceiling but i think he'll be a good #2)
4) Booth ( haven't seen enough of him but he might better than Elam or Mccreary)
i also like tariq Wooten as a swing for the fences pick in the mid rounds if hes there
I don't want anything to do with Mcduffie. I think you could get a similar guy to him way later on in the draft.
