We playing with fire right now that the FA plans hasn't really gone well and now we gotta put our eggs in the draft basket... Howie roseman still running that draft

a good WR2 & safety signing along with a decent draft wouldve had us in the mix at the top of this extremely weak NFC imo :hubie:

Was listening to a BGN podcast and they brought up how the ravens have had trouble signing upper echelon receivers. They alluded to a possible reason being the style of offense the ravens run (run-first). That could be in play here, as well. OBJ, Allen robihson, etc aren’t gonna wanna sign somewhere that they can’t put up numbers in :yeshrug:. We might as well get ready for some new rookies and a Keelan Cole/Zach pascal type wideout :yeshrug:

Then we better sign free agent runningbacks. Rashaad Penny, Leonard Fournette, Cordarelle Patterson, Melvin Gordon and Marlon Mack are all out there. All under 30 with the exception of Patterson.

Or draft that runningback out of Iowa State in the second round if he is still there.

Switch it up, I'm tired of Sanders, Scott and Howard

We gotta make some splash elsewhere offensively cause I think u right, free agent wideouts ain't fukkin with this offense and Jalen Hurts.

I meant to post earlier how I was sad to see him go. He became a team favorite of mine during the '19 season. Good quality back who won't break the bank.

"Oh my, who is Boston Scott!" is my favorite Eagles broadcast call from the last couple of years. Glad he's back.
He's pretty much a perfect back-up

Always comes through when they go to him, valuable in the run or pass game, and occasionally breaks off huge games

Very likeable

We gotta get 5 starters out of this draft, 4 min.

I have a hard time believing we'll invest a top 120 pick into RB with Scott re-signing

WR, LB, FS, power DE are still the top needs

So are we drafting another Reciever?
Ridley suspension pretty much sunk their hopes of getting a real veteran upgrade at WR. I think they'll definitely consider one with a high pick, and if not they'll try again next offseason (possibly with the same Ridley proposal).

That certainly plays a role. We all want to see Jalen reach that point where he cements himself as the guy but if we can all notice him not be able to hit DeVonta & Quez running FREE downfield countless times last season, of course other WRs can see it too.

He needs to make significant strides as a passer, and that goes beyond getting more talent to work with.
