Here is why they are trying to say it is a robbery and not a simple theft. :comeon:

Law enforcement officer's use of force in making an arrest.
563.046. 1. A law enforcement officer need not retreat or desist from efforts to effect the arrest, or from efforts to prevent the escape from custody, of a person he reasonably believes to have committed an offense because of resistance or threatened resistance of the arrestee. In addition to the use of physical force authorized under other sections of this chapter, he is, subject to the provisions of subsections 2 and 3, justified in the use of such physical force as he reasonably believes is immediately necessary to effect the arrest or to prevent the escape from custody.

2. The use of any physical force in making an arrest is not justified under this section unless the arrest is lawful or the law enforcement officer reasonably believes the arrest is lawful.

3. A law enforcement officer in effecting an arrest or in preventing an escape from custody is justified in using deadly force only

(1) When such is authorized under other sections of this chapter; or

(2) When he reasonably believes that such use of deadly force is immediately necessary to effect the arrest and also reasonably believes that the person to be arrested

(a) Has committed or attempted to commit a felony; or

(b) Is attempting to escape by use of a deadly weapon; or

(c) May otherwise endanger life or inflict serious physical injury unless arrested without delay.

4. The defendant shall have the burden of injecting the issue of justification under this section.

(L. 1977 S.B. 60)

My niigga...that's what Im saying. Plus, the "robbers" saw the police car approach and neither of them decided to run...or at the very least "speed walk" away? :camron:

since when is it an unwritten rule that you cant wear flip flops to rob a store:why:

if i walk in a store with no intention to steal yet mid way i decide fukk it,im gonna take this, get caught by the shop assistant,he questions me,i rough him up while trying to convince him i didn't take anything, leave the store....

lil time goes by, a police car rolls up and my friend says" act normal, act kool"

thats not really hard to believe is it

disclaimer(NOT SAYING THIS HAPPENED,IM GIVING HIM AN EXAMPLE OF HOW U CAN STEAL WEARING FLIP FLOPS)

the cop should be sentenced no doubt,he better, but lets not act like we cant steal wearing flip flops bruh, thats all

Well the robbery really doesn't matter since the cop didn't even know they robbed the store in the first place.

An attorney on CNN just explained that if Michael Brown robbed the store, the cop had probable cause to approach him and that changes everything. He said that the Supreme Court has ruled that an officer can use deadly force on a fleeing suspect, even shooting them in the back.
What about a surrendering?
