I can't believe ya'll can't connect the dots. The press conference was scheduled for 11:15, pushed to 11:30 and then 11:40 and actually started about 11:50. The governor confirmed he was talking to President Obama and that's why he was late. You hear news about the county police being pulled from Ferguson. IMO, President Obama spoke with the governor and told him that the police are way too aggressive and to tone it down and that all of that force was not needed. I think you will see a vastly different approach from the police from here on out.

Governer admits to being on the phone with Obama PRIOR to his speech
Obama does not start his own speech before hearing what the Governor has to say.
