Need to make an example of French. What's the standard penalty for traitors?

Did they really just hold a news conference for this shyt? :what: No news on the indictment? Or on the whereabouts of Darren Wilson?

I guess this was Gov. Nixons way of saying, "hey look ....some black people still like me, see"

Nah, hes outta here too when this is all over :camby:
They love divide and conquer shyt. Especially if his brothers and sisters are witnessing this action. Kind of like when they made slaves whip slaves with slave onlookers

Oct.1 New fiscal year breh
Understood HOWEVER the common man should know that things of this nature don't just present themselves in a days time...Not when it comes to state budgets and certainly not after everything that has negatively affected the black community in just the last 30 years. Hell I'm sure there's a financial sector think tank working RIGHT NOW with the state's treasury among other decision makers on projected spending for the next 2-3 years based on this decision (further exhausting state resources for a benign cause). My question STILL stands, where'd you get the dough? MO was one of many states hit HARD by the Great Recession...IDGAF if a concession was made...such a large contribution that will translate to NOTHING for that community or it's citizens says to me that if your throw enough fiat currency at it, it'll go away and quite frankly, we are well beyond that bullshyt ideal (we should be collectively at least). The people know better, even if "battle tested" folks like French continue to buckle to the pressure of the dollar....

If he don't flip that dough into something worth while for that community (at the least), he's Steve Harvey status breh...

Voter Registration Soars In Ferguson Since Death Of Michael Brown

10/02/2014

Ferguson, Missouri, has seen a surge in voter registration since a white police officer fatally shot black teenager Michael Brown in early August, USA Today reported Thursday.

Of the 4,839 people in St. Louis County who have registered to vote since the shooting, 3,287 are residents of Ferguson -- a city with a population of 21,203, according to the last census.

The city's population is predominantly African-American, yet most of its elected representatives and a vast majority of its police force are white.

"It's a great move when people come out and register in mass like that," St. Louis 3rd Ward Committeeman Anthony Bell said, according to USA Today.

"They are sending a signal that we want a change. It doesn't give justice to the Michael Brown family but it will in the future give justice to how the administration is run in a local municipality like Ferguson."

Anthony Gray, an attorney who represents Brown's family, said citizens of Ferguson could enact real change come the November elections.

"It could completely change the political landscape, the power structure, (and) the decision making," he told USA Today. "The service to the African American community would almost quadruple because they would be viewed as a credible and legitimate voting block."

Eight protesters demanding the arrest of Darren Wilson, the officer who shot Brown, were arrestedSunday night during another tense standoff between demonstrators and police outside the Ferguson Police Department.

Officials said Wednesday they were "looking into" allegations of misconduct on the grand jury hearing the case, after reports that a juror may have discussed evidence with a friend.

I mean...he's pinpointed some key areas that we could work towards...

But that doesn't mean that he isn't expected to be smart and TACTICAL.

Does this dude understand public imaging, propaganda, etc?

We should be publicly DENOUNCING the Governor...we should be making a statement, not just to Nixon, but to the democrats at large : This shyt is una-fukking-cceptable, and there will be consequences for betraying us.

Instead...he's at a photo-op, getting a measly 500k. fukking 500 thousand....but what Nixon got today was priceless.

Of course we still have to work with the system at times...but c'mon French, how the hell are you gonna be so blind to what Nixon is trying to do here?
