I was having a convo with my mother recently about how our elders failed us miserably. The conclusion we came to was that its up to us. Luckily youngins like myself know intuitively somethings off just need that leader to arise and we gone get this thing settled however it has to.

No leader needed. Everyone has to hold themselves to the code. Spend your money with your own when possible. Never take a suspected white supremacists side in racial incidents, know your rights, don't get yourself in a vulnerable position when dealing with the police, etc.
