Black 22 year old, Darrien, shot in Utah. He had a Samurai word strapped to his back because he was applying for a job at an Asian restaurant. He was confronted by police near the restaurant. Witnesses have sent in photos where there is no sword in his hand, yet police say they shot him because he pulled out the sword and came at them with it. Witnesses say one shot was fired before Darrien began to run away, then police fired five more shots at Darrien. The mother directly announced that she felt the crime was committed because of race, but police won’t admit to such a thing. Both officers are on paid leave. Sound familiar?

I've been begging the police, why from the time I saw the pictures of you just standing by him with his hands to his side, does he end up seconds later with a bullet in him? And then if he's running (according to eyewitnesses), why you had to put in more bullets, and I don't even know how many. That's what I want to know," Susan Hunt said.
