Back at u breh. Ill tell u my last 4 to 5 years i was in, i spent just about as much time on the ground as i did in my tank. My last deployment we didnt even take our tanks.

Tankin is fun as hell until that track break . As much as armor n infantry so call go at it, being in the field we turn our tanks on to keep them warm when it was cold!!

So wtf were you doing then? I'm thinking about enlisting after college. Something I always wanted to do. Either going intel or recon in the marines. Probably intelligence tho. Wanna try to get that top secret clearance.

I've broke plenty of track and remember we have those POS Bradleys...But fukk track...I call myself reclassing and they gave me 2 1068s

Damn, come to think of it I don't remember seeing a lot of footage of armor and shyt later in the war(s). Makes sense now. Going on patrols seems like the scariest shyt to me.

03-04 we rode in on our tanks, 05-06, we tanked everyday, 08-09 before we left we turned our tanks over to another unit who just got back from iraq and we didnt take them

How cramped is it in the Abrams and what were you doing in that there specifically? Guessing that shyt isn't like hopping in a minivan

Its pretty cramped, driver has his own space, loader is ok cause he can be up out the hatch, gunner is cramp below the tank commander, and tank commander can be out the hatch, but overall not a lot of space at all. 03-04 i was a driver, in 05-06 i was a gunner, i got promoted to staff sergeant in 07 and was a tank commander till i got out

Huh . Yeah its ok, i lost some from the time i came in until the time i got out which is normal but im good. To be honest its not as loud as u think it would be inside the tank when it fires, but for some reason if a tank next to u fires its loud as shyt
