You know, I live in a little country southern town. It's sad becauses it hard to not walk into a business around this place and FOX news isn't on the TV.
I work at a big corporate place and we have several TV's in the lobby and cafe area. You should see how they huddle around to watch that station all day. It's no wonder that a place that employs about 650 people has about 30 blacks in the corporate office.

And for the 30 black people there, you know they're got a big ass file on each one of them.

I was roaming around YT and spot this old 1988 video of Huey P. Newton, Ishmael reed, & Jawanza Kunjufu on racism. It was hell of an interesting watch, shyt haven't really change. The topic they brush on are the same topic we see on thecholi daily. From sexism, colorism, European standards, bleaching, white ppl love for MLK, building our own, blacks buying power, color purple, white ppl high number in incest/rape and white supremacy. the white male host got mad when Huey give that work at the end tho

Depends on what you're dealing with. For the most part yes though. You know white supremacy is so deep around here it gives black a low self esteem about themselves making them have slave mentalities. Like when I was talking about Ferguson at a football game during halftime the other night, you could see blacks looking at me like I should shut up because I was saying this stuff in front of whites.

You just accented my point. It's evolved. Yes times have changed cause you could lyched by looking at a white girl wrong at one point. But this police brutality is the modern day lynching. I agree that the whole "Equal" thing gave us Blacks the wrong impression. White America thought, "Oh let's let them go shopping, let's let them go the movies, they will think it's equal". Meanwhile as you say, from the Police, to courts to Jails to Corporate America racist is running rampant. I'm very upset with Black Celeberites. They can do some "Ice Bucket" ish but can't say a word on Mike Brown. His donations should be in the millions if Black celeberites came through. living in the boonies can be decent, but yes it can be tough at times if you are Black (especially in a white majority county like where I stay at)
