He's White. Video Evidence wasn't enough to get the Rodney King Cops convicted. I think a lot of us Blacks needs to really have a reality check cause we've been pacified the last 50 years since Martin and Malcom died. White Supremacy is real. This isn't about all White People it's about the racist white power structure still in power. A Black cop killing an unarmed white teen jaywalking going to college would of unfolded way differently. 1st the Cops name and identity would of been given out immediately and I'm sure he would of been charged by now. The whole coverage would of been different. It's a fact the justice system works in the Police Favor, especially whites favor in general.

Our people are broken and powerless.. And Its pathetic to watch.. some of us are so weak we have resorted to begging the same white men who hate us and justify our deaths for justice. If folks really want justice, then they should have used that energy wasted marching and rioting and taken it into their own hands cause blacks will never get it in the white mans court. Stop begging white folks to treat you like a human being. The majority doesnt value black life and never have.. If a racist ever did anyone in my fam or child like Trayvon or mike brown they wouldn't make it to the courtroom. period. The cop more than likely will get off or on the off chance he does get convicted will serve a short sentence which wouldn't be justice either.

I feel Martin and Malcolm point of view. I'm not against revolution only that it provides change. I get that sometimes "Peace" can't always get the job done but what are we going to do? Fight the entire police force or American Military? Black Americans are in a weird form of purgatory. We don't know our entire history cause we've been separated and torn apart by slavery. We are just here now and living the Legacy of our ancestors who were raped, tortured, murdered etc. We are like 6th, 7th Generation Americans now since the 1600's and slavery. My generation is actually the 1st post-civil rights generation. I don't have the answers but I know at one point in time Blacks assembled and were able to shake and change the system. If it was done before and times was worst, why can't it be done now. Racism isn't hanging from Trees or White Only Fountains anymore. It's evolved and it's changed and Blacks needs to understand that.

Nothing has changed. White Only Fountains still exist. Take your black girlfriend into a tony restaurant that serves a predominantly white clientele. See how you're treated. Look at the job market and how corporate America is almost exclusively white. Michael Brown was lynched, just like so many other black men gunned down by white police officers for no other reason than being black and automatically suspected of a crime they didn't commit. And were times really worse? Really? When we look at our people and how they've been bamboozled into a myth of equality because of these black celebrities that tap dance for a few bucks? Racism hasn't evolved. It's the same cac system it's always been. Nat Turner is the answer.

Brown started to walk away according to the account, prompting Wilson to draw his gun and order him to freeze. Brown, the source said, raised his hands in the air, and turned around saying, "What, you're going to shoot me?"

At that point, the source told FoxNews.com, the 6-foot-4, 292-pound Brown charged Wilson, prompting the officer to fire at least six shots at him

Why is the "Pause" So Important? Well if Mike Brown is "Charging" Towards him. There's no way he would of paused. So the 5 Shots before clearly were from Mike Brown running away. The 6 shots after were the fatal shots. This is an open and shut case. But so was Trayvon and we saw what happen. This is going to take over a year before it's concluded. But again White Supremacy is real. They will do anything to keep the message that the Police have power and that Black Life is worthless.

I hope Wilson gets locked up.

But we JUST saw a video of another Saint Louis dude getting killed and the cops firing three or four more shots while dude was falling on the ground.

I'm hoping they dont fukk this up again.

Just saw this pic for the first time on someone's twitter page. I legit cried as if I was the father and feeling his grief. I know he's mourning the loss of his son, but I stared at that picture and saw our people in that moment of terrible anguish, as if he's crying for what we have to live through in this nation.

All I can think of looking at that pic

"....And if I discover that those songs the darkies sang and sing were not just the innocent expressions of a primitive people but extremely subtle and difficult, dangerous and tragic expression of what it felt like to be in chains, then by one’s presence, simply by the attempt to walk from here to there, you begin to frighten the white world

they’ve always known that you were not a mule!

they’ve always known that no one wishes to be a slave!

they’ve always known that the bales of cotton and the textile mills and entire metropolises built on black labor, that the black was not doing it out of love he was doing it under the whip

the threat of the gun and even more desperate and subtle threats of the bible"

James Baldwin from the Baldwin's ****** speech of 1969

I simply remember all these kinds of things
And then I don’t feel so bad…

Black rage is founded who fed us self hatred
Lies and abuse while we waited and waited
Spiritual treason
This grid and it's cages
Black rage was founded on these kinds of things

Black rage is founded on dreaming and draining
Threatening your freedom
To stop your complaining
Poisoning your water
While they say it's raining
Then call you mad
For complaining, complaining
Old time bureaucracy
Drugging the youth
Black rage is founded on blocking the truth
Murder and crime
Compromise and distortion
Sacrifice, sacrifice
Who makes this fortune?
Greed, falsely called progress
Such human contortion
Black rage is founded on these kinds of things

So when the dog bites
And the ceilings
And I’m feeling mad
I simply remember all these kinds of things
And then I don’t feel so bad

Free enterprise
Is it myth or illusion
Forcing you back into purposed confusion
Black human trafficking
Or blood transfusion
Black rage is founded on these kinds of things
Victims of violence
Both psyche and body
Life out of context IS living ungodly
Politics, politics
Greed falsely called wealth
Black rage is founded on denying of self
Black human packages
Tied and subsistence
Having to justify your very existence
Try if you must
But you can’t have my soul
Black rage is founded on ungodly control
So when the dog bites
And the beatings
And I’m feeling so sad
I simply remember all these kinds of things
And then I don’t feel so bad

:wow:

Its about respect. You don't ask for it.. you don't beg for it.. you demand it. That's what blacks today dont get. Civil disobedience worked back in the day cause they were actually breaking the laws of the time by protesting and being were blacks were not "allowed" to be and challenging authority. It wasn't just a peaceful march... It was disruption. If zimmerman ended up missing before trial that would have sent a stronger message then a million peaceful marches and protest. Sure its not right.. but cacs would be forced to respect it. The next racist ones would think twice before pulling that trigger.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
:leon: she actually showed evidence on how white privilege, how blacks are x amount times higher to be unemployed vs white, in prison, etc.. She also mentioned white flight where white people leave neighborhoods when black people move in. Bill oreilly tried to clean it up and say it's because of the culture and kelly basically was telling bill to knock it off :camby:

Ferguson so powerful, we got blond white women on Fox News admitting white privilege exists.

There's gon' be some change.

Billy want us to fall for the "Hey, there's a black face--ya'll should trust them."

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/megyn-kelly-oreilly-clash-over-white-privilege-in-ferguson/

I love the "Default White Guy Talking Points" and Bill hittin' 'em all.

Bill said our culture! Kelly had just explained why some black people don't think they can make it.

She did take a lil' shot at Democrats. She did turn back Fox New-ish towards the end, but, she was still makin' a decent point.

they don't give a fukk

smh

This is a look into the world of a lot of people. They are treated so well by police, they can't imagine any maleficence by an officer.

smh

Add that to the disconnect, socially, a lot of folk can't believe black people are mistreated by police.
