Saying "violence is never the answer" is such a lazy stance...I'm disappointed to see Roland Martin tweeting this...9 times out of 10 when I hear this its from someone with strong ties to the slavery mentality of the Christian church..
Whenever I hear "violence is not the answer" my first thought is "What is the question?"
Whenever I hear "violence never accomplishes anything" my first thought is "It accomplished and maintains the American empire and white supremacy"

things escalated to this point AFTER police showed up to a peaceful vigil in fukkING RIOT GEAR!
this is bigger than just the death of one person, these are people fed up with the system and they're acting out against it, you not agreeing with the way these people decide to demonstrate means absolutely nothing, thankfully.
There not honoring his memory, look am all for organized civil unrest. Block / take over the police station, take over schools and banks etc etc make demands
But you know what indiscriminate violence brings MORE COPS
Now because those business have been burned down property value in that area goes down, insurance prices go up, if you thought it was hard being black and opening a business in that area before this good luck getting a bank loan now to do that
Again I doubt many of these dudes encouraging this live anywhere near that area
