:ohhh: @stomachlines Reading this thread & than looking up Fergie's Wikipedia page, I realized I completely slept on Fergie's 2006 debut album. I had no idea that album went 5x Platinum. The only single I remember is "Fergalicious", despite the fact the album had five top 5 Billboard Hot 100 hits.

The singles from that album got a lot of play on the radio and the videos stayed coming on MTV

I was on a 2-3 year hiatus from having cable during that period (So I didn't have access to MTV/BET/VH1) & YouTube definitely existed by 2006, but it wasn't until 2009 that the record labels created VEVO & started regularly putting music videos on YouTube. So I only remember watching the "Fergalicious" music video on the AOL Music website.

I had stopped listening to Pop radio by than, so I don't remember the other singles besides "Fergalicious".

The 1 thing that throws me off though is I remember all the singles from the p*ssycat Doll's debut album (which was around the same). I guess I just didn't check for Fergie after "Fergalicious". I need to binge-watch all the music videos from her "The Dutchess" album.

Word
The album still holds up well, classic Pop music

@stomachlines I'm finally checking out the singles/music videos from Fergie's 2006 debut album right now.

1. The first single "London Bridges" actually sounds familiar to me but I don't remember much about it. This is probably my 1st time ever seeing the music video.

2. Of course I'm very familiar with the 2nd single "Fergalicious".

3. I'm watching the music video for The 3rd single "Glamorous" right now & I instantly recognized the song! I had no idea that it was a Fergie song & that it featured Ludacris. This is probably my 1st time ever watching the music video.

4. I recognized the 4th single "Big Girls Don't Cry" too. I had no idea it was a Fergie song. This my 1st time seeing the music video.

5. The 5th single "Clumsy" sounds familiar too. I didn't know it was a Fergie song. This is probably my 1st time seeing the music video.

Wow, really?

When she released that Fergalicious album, that album was huge and the singles were very popular and got a lot of radio play and the videos got a lot of tv time.

Fergie is my girl :wow:
