Contrefaire
Superstar
There's plenty of porn out there nowadays, a lot of it perfectly consensual and 100% self-made (PornHub couples acts are eating pretty good last I heard). That being said, there was and is still a lot of abuse in the industry. And honestly, it's what a lot of men want to see.
Imagine being a porn ACTRESS (not "star", because porn doesn't produce stars anymore) and doing a scene where some shyt went down (or was about to go down) that you didn't agree to. Now, some of y'all say well, just sue! but how likely do you think a favorable outcome would be in the courts? Most people (male AND female) don't even see these chicks as "people" anyway. They'd make all kinds of excuses in their minds for why "she asked for it" or "she knew what she signed up for" etc, etc and deserved what happened, contracts be damned. Excuses are already being made in this thread. Tf you think would happen elsewhere?
And lets say you sue and got your lil $30-50k "settlement" check, what then? You've already done porn so other job opportunities outside the industry are limited and within the industry, now no one wants to work with you because now you're seen as "litigious" or "difficult".
A lot of girls would rather keep their mouths shut, make whatever money they can and get out. If you've noticed, many of these chicks who've come out with stories are either still doing porn or in some way working in the sex industry so I doubt it's "buyer's remorse" on their part.
