I cant speak about the company you mentioned in the OP but I've seen a ton of demo videos from other companies showing proof of their casual looking clothing stopping bullets.
Coincidentally the shirt you have in the OP looks exactly like one that I have but mines is black. I don't wear it often because its not practical at all.
