The fight versus Hatton. Why? The pressure of many people (casual mostly, who are the biggest builders of bandwagons) thinking he would lose and WANTING him to lose, especially to a WHITE breh from Europe, it seems like the world (except us brehs) was against him, the pre fight hype was DOPE! Anyway, the way Floyd systematically broke Hatton down was masterful. Hatton was relentlessly applying pressure from the start even to when he got KO'd, Floyd showed that he could fight going backwards, his footwork and ring generalship was ill. Those lead rights and jabs to the stomach Hatton ate are what did him in. I feel he forced Floyd to dig down in his arsenal and use that check hook. That fight right there I thought was the topping on the cake in how I regarded Floyd as a fighter, until he rebounded with force vs. Shane.
