I voted for the black feminist by the way, a lot of brothers talk about how black women should put their race above their gender but pick white supremacy over female supremacy. I guess it really is about people wanting to do them rather than doing what's right for the community. :mjpls: That's our biggest problem as men. I'm not big on feminism but I'd rather my boss be a black woman than a c@c.

So black feminists aid white supremacy but the white mans woman don't? C'mon son. :stopitslime: Yeah, a lot of black feminists tend to have problems with black men, they're annoying but they no real threat. They're just as much on the leash as we are. Black feminists have no real power because they're not invested in anything, truth be told a lot of black feminists will drop the act the moment a patriarchal on-point man enters their life. Case in point beyonce's faux feminist ass. Feminism is just a cool way for women to lobby men to do shyt for them, they don't actually put on the hard hat. They know men build shyt.

if she bad and she talking about letting me see what the mouf do the bytch could be Lavender for all i care. If you are true in your steez you can get and deal with any female on the planet. For as different as women are, and as different as out perceptions are, really a white feminist and a black one don't have that much difference. Human beings aren't that different, shyt is just scales of the same grey.

we tell black women to put their race above their gender, cause they are above black men (and always have been) on the totem pole..

white supremacy and female supremacy are one in the same... one has white men at the top of the totem pole, the other has white women at the top of it....
take your pick breh:heh:

why should everyone do so? If a man is better physiologically equiped for an opportunity, why should women be given equal opportunity?

Because treating people fairly is a golden rule of decency. The second sentence has nothing to do with equal opportunity. I think you are mistaken of that term as well. Equal opportunity is under the assumption that all candidates who qualify are given a fair chance.

if we're talking about women not being automatically rejected because they are women, then i agree that it would make more sense to give them a chance.

If they both applied and are both qualified, and the man gets selected over the woman say because the woman could get pregnant, it's not necessarely cool to do but i think the company should be free to discriminate on that. I guess my main problem is with the word "should". and treating people fairly, what does that really mean? I know what you mean by it, don't get me wrong but at the end of the day, you should be allowed to do what you believe is best for your company (even if your beliefs are ignorant)

Welcome to a part of economic feminism.

That's not cool either. That's why I believe in appreciating the differences in men and women, but not punishing the differences. Women do have the anatomy to have children, but should not be punished on a corporate level for doing so.... just as men should not be punished for NOT being able to have children and therefore denied paternity leave to be able to have a paternal role in raising children. Paying men and women for their hours worked/earned is what I think is fair as a feminist. I think the facts of biology should not allow companies to discriminate. Both genders make the world go around and we, as people, should do our best to make the most of it.

That's the problem with political and economical patriarchy. Men mostly own and run such companies and the women and their families suffer due to those men doing whatever they want. As a feminist, I look at the family as a whole. The treatment of workers have an affect on a family's livelihood and mistreatment, especially gender bias, should most definitely be addressed.
