'Fear the Walking Dead' Season 2 has a premiere date - and is much longer
The second season of AMC's Walking Dead's spin-off officially has a return date.
Fear the Walking Dead will return for its second season on April 10 at 9 p.m., and this year, it will be followed by a new episode of Talking Dead every week.
Also new: Since the season is longer than the show's first — which was only six episodes long — Season 2 will be split into two parts.
The-15 episode second season will air seven episodes in the spring and the remaining 8 will air "later in 2016," the network said. This is not a huge surprise, of course, as The Walking Dead operates in a similar fashion.
Season 1 of Fear the Walking Dead wrapped up in October with an episode that saw the family at the center of the story considering a escape from the mainland. And judging by the first photo from Season 2, seen above, it looks like they may have taken to the seas to escape the zombie takeover.
