I hope you guys buy food products from local family farmers then. Not saying that everything commercially distributed is genetically modified but lots of corners have to be cut to meet demand.

This is a matter of language...."modified" is funny word in this debate, but before GM food...no one said "modified".....the word was "cross-breeding" between similar species or the same species

"Modified" post-GM food means adding genes that are not the same and would not happen in nature. Why would a puffer fish gene be in salmon...it would not happen naturally. Why would goats have spider genes. Why would tomatoes have fish genes. None of this could accidentally happen in nature.

Plus out bodies weren't designed to eat these types organisms. We have evolved with our food supply, so that means we are going to get sick. By not labeling you are removing choice that people have and if it was that safe then the market would dictate how much people would buy it. Hiding ingredients is not the wave.
