I had two friends who were brothers and stayed getting beat with a belt, we would listen outside their house, nikkas would be in tears begging for their dad to stop, but they turned out to be productive citizens, i got beatings too but it didn't help I still ended up in juvie

It's not really that simple though. Each child is different. Kids are smarter than you think once they know how much they can get away with they'll keep pushing. So when the only punishment is something like grounding or time outs...they'll become even more out of control. I've seen good people struggling with their misbehaved kids and it's really sad to see. So I'm not gonna knock people that use the hand or the belt. Sometimes that's the only way to get the point across, especially when you've tried all the other methods.

I don't beat my kids, never had a reason too. I'm just saying I can sometimes understand why others do it. I've seen how bad other people's kids can be. Personally I'm just lucky, I guess.

Let's just be honest, some kids need ass whippings. My mom beat the shyt out of me when I was a kid cuz I was a bad kid, never once did I doubt she loved me. Speaking as someone who had lost his virginity AND started smoking weed before high school, I think I earned most of my ass whippings
