General statement
Purity tests for Black people are counterproductive and illogical.
I understand the FBADOS movement as a play for reparations. Develop a way to qualify for that million dollar check. Distinguish ourselves.
I am descendant of slaves on both sides. And I have native and european ancestors on both sides.
Just like most FBADOS and most descendants of slaves in the New World.
There's no real logical difference between a Caribbean, South America, or North American descendant of New World slavery. All of us have the same origin and all of us have the same mix of DNA to greater or lesser degree.
Dividing will never be more powerful than uniting.

The funny part of this statement above is that many from those other ethnicities did not have problems with the dividing until Black Americans decided to do it too. Let's not act like other groups did not make it perfectly clear to anyone who would listen that they were not one of us. Now that some of our people are doing the same, now there is a problem.
So, if you or anyone is able to explain it, why was it not a problem when they did it, but is now a problem when some of our own do it?

Fat Joe has been involved in Hiphop culture since the early 90’s.
