what do you classify it as? Those movies targeted toward a certain demographic.

a hip hop movie is a movie centered around HIP HOP. Boyz in the hood, Menace 2 society, King of Ny, New Jack City, Paid in full, are hip hop favorites, but none of these are hip hop films. Juice is a hip hop movie because the main character had dreams of being a DJ. Surviving the Game, starring Ice T, isn't a hip hop movie just because Ice T stars in it haha.

Having said all of that, my personally favorite villain in a hip hop movie was I from Fly By Night. The crazy thing about this is that the actors recorded their own vocals for the songs. The soundtrack was never released, but as many have stated on youtube comments, I(Ron Bryce) was DMX before DMX. Also, I may be the all time greatest fictional rapper ever in a film. A fictional rapper in a film that obviously wasn't an MC in real life. That means Rabbit(Eminem) is excluded.

Ice t may be one of the best villains in tv history.
As well as being one of the best rappers to play a villain.
