im gonna bump an eight year old thread instead of making another one for the sake of avoiding redundancy

a couple of years ago i sat down with this album and my bass guitar and figured out how to play along to it... i like to break it out a couple times a year and play along with the album. track 8 is one of my favorite bass lines ever, C Eb F# 5th chords going up the neck on the A string. since the album borrows so much from p-funk, i kinda knew half these bass lines already, although sometimes theyre in a different key due to being sampled or replayed.

"the chronic" and "dark side of the moon" are two of my favorite 'classic' albums to play along to.

"lil ghetto boy" makes me wanna pick up a flute. tracks 6 through 8 on the chronic are some of dres best beat making ever... i think NWA's final LP should be included in all praise for The Chronic since its an evolution of his sound, as well.
