"Who's the best: Pac, Nas and Big?"
A continuation of my "Favorite track off a Classic or Great album" threads. Yesterday I covered AZ's "Pieces of a Man" in which the majority voted for "How Ya Livin'". Today I will cover not just a West Coast Classic and a Classic album in general, but one of the GOAT albums, Dr. Dre's "The Chronic". If you've been following hip-hop then you should know that "The Chronic" is one of the most important albums of all time. It put the West Coast on the map & introduced the masses to the iconic G-Funk sound, as well as to the now legendary Snoop Doggy Dogg who would also have a legendary debut album that I will cover tomorrow. If there's an album that always gets heavy rotation in my car, it would definitely be "The Chronic". The albums replay ability is crazy & the production is The album has the honor of being the first album I ever bought. Still have the album on cassette There's nothing like driving through LA while listening to "The Chronic". This was just one of many classics released during the year let alone the entire nineties. We will never have a decade like the nineties ever again This is one of those times that I think I can't choose. Ima give it another listen & make a choice. I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said about the album, it's an undeniable classic. What's your favorite track off this classic? & if you can, explain.
