2 is my favorite, it needs way more love in here.
First off he wins in the most dramatic fashion of any of the rest,
Second Rocky, Mick, Paulie and Adrian are still in the hood keeping shyt real,
Third, Mickey delivers his most comedic lines in 2, when seeing Rocky Jr. for the first time, "Is that him?!" while frowning like he's an ugly baby.
Fourth, Rocky's speech after winning is his best, "Yo Adrian! I did it!"
Fifth, the sportsmanship between Apollo and Rocky afterward is deep. Real recognize real they fukkin' hugged after beating each other to death.

growing up I thought Rocky 4 was the be all end all of boxing movies...it wasnt until I was able to watch Rocky 1 as a teenager when I realized just how great of a movie it is...funny enough, for somereason, I NEVER SAW 3 till late in my teen years....usually I caught them during a marathon or whatever, but I never saw that one on TV....

co sign. i like part 2 more than the other sequels. the unintentional comedy is gold, it still had that 70s look and vibe and the final fight was better than part 3,And 4. maybe too dramatic with both going down but they made it work. dope flick all the way through.
part 3 is overrated, great villain but predictable fight and just seemed so contrived. never was a big fan of part 3.
the last flick, balboa, was forgettable, kinda wish he never made it.
