did any of u guys watch the tv show lights out on fx a few yrs ago...it was pretty good although it only lasted one season due to low ratings

i wish it woulda been renewed because it had great characters and was great to see a tv drama that showed the slimy part of boxing / promoters etc...i suggest checking it out if you havent seen it... even tho it was only 1 season it kinda of closed on the finale so it wasnt much of a cliffhanger

this shyt was unbelievable for a doc..my gf is not a fan of boxing..she had heard of this from her father who's really into black history..i burned a dvd for her and she pretty much watches at least once a month

When we were kings will always be my number one and hold a special place for me given my father grew up on those fighters and introduced me to them and the documentary. Also the james brown concert .

That documentary holds a special place within me. It will be number one no matter what.

I need to watch the kassim one though.

I enjoyed the interchange papa dougas had with the females in the flick. dude was hoh all the way live. the gangsta sup-plot was ok also. i recently bought a copy in the $5 bin.
