jazz heads give me more piff like this :feedme:

:salute: shyt makes me feel like I should be on a beach somewhere after working a shytty dishwashing job like Tony and Manny did.

This might be something you into

The vocals took a bit of getting use to, but goddamn does this kick, them tracks like Astral Wine, Mother Iracema, Kermis are :ohlawd:

this is how i learned about most jazz...

probably one of the most knowledgeable jazz heads of all time

:banderas: This album right here needs it's own holiday...Crazy how many dudes who consider themselves smokers/stoners/tripheads don't even know about this.

Like bruh, the samples, the vocals/film stuff alone is just pure :lawd: unapologetic blackness that can't be matched today.

i dont kno if these albums are legendary, essential and so on, because im not that knowledgeable, but here are some records i do enjoy:

Ahmed Abdul-Malik - Jazz Sounds of Africa
John Coltrane - Dakar / Lush Life
Deodato - Whirlwinds
Grant Green - Green Street
Lee Morgan - Search for the New Land
Miles Davis - Nefertiti / Sketches of Spain / On The Corner / Dark Magus (this one is evil as fukk, live recording i think)
Yusef Lateef - Eastern Sounds
Alice Coltrane - Ptah, the El Daoud

also theres that Buena Vista Social Club album from 1997, crazy cuban melodies :wow:
