Care to explain why?

The colors (or lack thereof), the lighting, the rigid contrast, the pose, the subtle polarity between her adrogynous white collar clothing and her messy hair, her indifferent expression.

Its just a solid photograph and a powerful depiction of the female form. One of my favorites photos ever. I think Robert Mapplethorpe did this.
