This is Kevin Harts best movie. When he dials it back it worked well. It's a shame this movie isn't getting more shine. We love to complain about trauma porn and agendas but this movie was a simple story of love, loss and family and how we rebuild.

The kinds of people that talk about "trauma porn" and "agendas" are also the same kinds of people who tell you they "don't watch TV or movies like that". They weren't looking for an improvement, they're just looking for something else to add to their long list of complaints and grievances.
I watched this yesterday. It was solid from beginning to end.

Kevin Hart proved he has acting chops in this movie. He was relatable, funny, serious, and driven by his daughter. The touching moments hit hard. (Plenty of them) Very hard to dislike this movie... good flick. Let’s show it some love.

agreed, nice little message that people will fall for (understandbly) but at the non emotional parts, i was lookin on like...Nice positive movie. But I can’t pretend it was that good, beyond that. Not particularly funny and not something I think I’ll ever watch again.

based on a true story.. but i can not speak for the dress part. i'll just take that as a grain a salt and let it rock in the movie. sometimes we gotta just enjoy something instead of looking for flaws
