I live in Detroit. I used to watch a public access show in Detroit. I saw Fat Joe rolling with about 20 Latin dudes with Gorrillas with sights around them on tall white tees(eventually I would come to find out it was KAR). All this was before piggy bank or me even knowing they had beef

Jadakiss 2nd album was full of 50 Cent disses

Nas did 50 kind of wrong.

50 reacted and did not start those beefs.

And like 50 said it’s no coincidence that him and Jay had the same beefs

Nas
Cam
Joe
Ja
Jadakiss
Buddens

Niqqas just got mad 50 wouldn’t let up and actually used his power and influence unlike Jay Z
The Coli thinks that Gawdfather's the bad guy.

i don't blame 50 or anybody really. no one person really started all of their own beefs.
its like Jim Jones said...when Dipset, Cam specifically got in the game, he said people we are fans of are now competition.

it was the same for 50. G-Unit and Dipset got second chances in this rap shyt, made themselves hot and saw everybody else in the city as competition. they had to fight to were they got to and they weren't allowing people to discredit them. so its not a surprise all of them started beefing with each other in some capacity.

now granted Fat Joe was always on some together shyt.

all his videos got the cameos, Terror Squad helped Dipset, The LOX etc fight people in other cities..it wasn't until 50 went at for standing next to Ja that he finally had some real rap beef so it was easy for him to put the blame on 50.

Reason why Atlanta been on top for so long is cause all our artists work together & don’t beef with each other.

Besides jeezy & Gucci, and the bankroll situation artists down here work together for the check for the most part

Fat Joe and 50 Cent had a lot of problems with each other during the aughts. But they buried all of that in 2012 after they came together to pay tribute to the late Chris Lighty.

Joe now considers 50 "family."

However, 50 may not be happy to hear what his family member had to say on yesterday's Everyday Struggle.

Joe forwarded the theory that it was 50 who "ruined" New York Hip Hop by fighting with everybody in the city who had turntables and a mic.

“[50 Cent] caused that [negative] energy ... Prior to that, New York Hip Hop got along," said Fat Joe. “That energy fukked up the New York vibe. It allowed everybody to get on some cocky shyt ... It was a bad time for New York Hip Hop."

Fat Joe certainly isn't the first person to suggest that it was 50's appetite for beef that ended New York's Hip Hop reign and pushed the game's epicenter down South

Hot 97's Ebro Darden is a big proponent of that theory, and 50 Cent has pushed back against him for it.

Do you think he'll have something to say about his bro Joe?

Joe starts talking Fif around 33:30.

if that were the case we would've got a ductape entertainment run by now. instead, they were blackballed.
not to mention dudes like T.I. studying jay-z's playbook and signing up talents that would've posed a competitive threat, and leaving them on the shelf.

the reason why Atlanta is flourishing is because they have the most outlets. they have the labels down there and tons of radio stations.

when the people in power start extra funny, then you'll notice the difference.

and Georgia rappers stay beefing. not just the stuff you listed:
waka/gucci
T.I./Gucci
T.I./Luda
T.I./shawty lo
T.I. vs alley boy
jeezy vs. alley boy
darn near everybody vs. ductape
DFB/D4L
luda/field mob
I could go on & on

take it back further:
pastor troy/miracle/drama
hitman Sammy-sam
outkast/ghetto mafia

and that's not even counting all the beefs that Georgia rappers have had with southerners from other states.

This theory is bullshyt when it comes from Ebro and its the same coming from Joe. The NY rap scenes decline has nothing to do with 50 beefing with everybody. That doesn't even make sense. Truth be told KRS was kinda like 50 in the 80's and that was a golden era. Dudes just stopped working on their craft (MC and producer) and the quality of music just declined. 50 got nothing to do with potential new talent being non-existant.

Never understood this shyt about divide.

Before 50, Nas, Jay,z Dmx all split and all were very successful.

Dre, Cube and Eazy split, all very successful.

If your music is John Blaze, you can win no matter if you are alone in your city like J Cole, Eminem, btnh or Kanye, if you are from a city like Philly but don't collaborate with anyone like Lil Uzi Vert or Atlanta like Gambino, or if you have a "unity". There's really no empirical evidence of that being a factor.

So y'all really gonna change the narrative to kiss and fat Joe dissed 50 first?

50 said himself he dissed them because of the New York song :stopitslime:

Y'all think it's a coincidence Piggy Bank came out shortly after?

:dahell:
