I heard this some years back. Think it had to do with the LKs. Joe really is one of those, I have a million stories to tell. Had another interview some time back that he wanted to produce a doc on King Kato, DMX's homie from Chi. There's also a video of him, random as hell, with Low G from Houston. Apparently Joe was looking for Southern Latino artist to sign and connect with.

Thinking about it, I never thought about how much I knew about Joe from the random things I've come across about him over the years.

There was definitely something but it seems to be all squashed because he talked about being on 3-way with Nas and Eric B a few days ago talking about Rakim.

How many people looked out for pac in jail dam , rap from fort green the street legend that died recently said pac was having issues in prison n he and his people looked out for him aswell ..... am trying to see who actually was looking out and who Is just flat out bullshyting !! Next TK Kirkland will say he looked out aswell :deadmanny:..... I didn’t even know pac and fat joe knew each other like that ... I knew fat joe and big L n them was tight tho ....

some of the crowd was hatin on Fatal because he was Pac's man and they started throwin up gang signs dissin Pac. Fatal lost it and started dissin everybody and their momma. Fat Joe who was hosting that night had to calm down everybody.

This is what I was tryna tell u. And Fat Joe has mentioned this YEAAARS ago. Back when he dropped J.O.S.E. And he redid Str8 Ballin on that album. He mentioned how he had gained mad respect for Pac cause Pac called him like a man to let him know how much he respects him and how his people held him down. He said Biggie was his man but ever since then he understood where Pac was comin from wit shyt and he had alotta respect for him and been a big fan ever since.
