JOSE had terrible beats. JOSE 2 had even worse beats. Elephant In The Room was forgettable. Me Myself & I ive completely forgotten how it sounds. Darkside 2 was ass if memory serves. The Terror Squad albums had spotty beats.


Fat Joe most def does not have a great ear for beats post DITC....at all.

I didn't say I liked JOSE (those beats didn't age that well but you can't deny some of the songs on there had people loving Fat Joe for the first time)

Loyalty to me is his most underrated shyt from a beats point of view.

Go back and listen to Darkside 2.

Darkside 1 was amazing to listen to. How Did We Get Here shoulda got way more love than it did

You see I wisely didn't include Loyalty in my critique right? I liked that one.

But given all the duds and half hearted albums full of Miami type shyt and Scott Storch and weak shyt that doesn't age well I can't accept him as having a good ear for beats.

Outside of Cool & Dre and Khaled he doesn't do much of that south shyt on his albums. Even that wack ass All or Nothing record had Safe 2 Say and that shyt went hard.

Nah you lost me with the bolded. The difference between Joe and Nas is that Joe really works with Premo. Nas only says he's talking to Premo to get everyone's hopes up before linking up with Solar Salaam Remi
