it feels like people are getting so spoon fed on what theyres supposed to be excited about. a bunch of technology which doesnt even really improve your life.

you can turn on a coffee machine with your hand. you can use a remote for the tv. play with an app on your phone or talk to somebody across the world with a push of a button. everything you want to be done, can be activated with your body, and you dont need a machine hooked up to your brain and attached to your body for it. theres no benefit for letting electronics physically invade your mind just so you can do all of the above without a remote or just getting up. if youre connected directly into a machine, theres no telling how much can go bad. its not even worth it.

amen... but the biggest two perils that immediately come to my mind is that 1) government/corporations will be able to know far too much about you .. don't think they won't collect information on you through these devices just like they do with cellphones.. and 2) if this device can truly capture certain thoughts/emotions it might also be able to invoke them too.... i.e.: mind control... the future doesn't always look bright

also, if they are using this to get information on what makes you tick, you know that theyll take that and play all the right notes when they want you to feel/think/buy/vote a certain way.
