I think we are nowhere near the stress aspect because it’s easy as fukk to get distracted or out right ignore. I bet a large swath of this nation has no idea about the book burning movement taking place and are more in tuned with Real Housewives or some celebrity bullshyt or sports.

I think there is a similarity with what’s going on in America today to what started happening in middle eastern nations like Iran in the 60’s and onward in response to corrupt foreign influence over their government and society.America on a dark path, ain't no reversing either.
It’s for different reasons, but there is a similar path of regression to cultural authoritarianism in the face of a perceived threat to the traditional way of life by an outside entity.
I don’t know breh. There is a lot of anger and hatred in the country right now even in a time of relative historical comfort and peace. It’s like we are becoming a pettier people.

I think my point is the counter to this. It’s why they rushed back sports and forcing people to work. Summer of 2020 was the first time in many years that people were forced to sit down and realize how fukked up things are, and capital class said fukk that and brought back entertainment.
