Here's what I hate about PFF and Schanz (who has hated Cam for years), they KNOW better. They are purposefully cherry-picking only the stats they want.

Cam has had a 100 + passer rating in 4 of the last 5 games. That is passer rating. Not overall QB, actual passer rating. How are they complaining about his passing? They ignore the fact he has thrown 5 TDs twice in the last three games. They ignore the fact he had the highest 4th quarter QBR heading into this week. They ignore that he has an above 67 % completion rate for the past 4 games.

They don't want to discuss his receivers. Schanz even tried to reference the defense winning this game. When people pointed out that's absurd the defense was awful, he actually admitted the defense had a horrible game then reiterated Cam wins because of them. Sigh.

These people have a definite agenda. This is not just about numbers. They dislike Cam for whatever reason, maybe even initially having to do with his historical numbers, and they choose to just completely disregard not only what they see on the field but what the NUMBERS actually show them this season. They have a prejudgment of Cam and they won't just admit they're wrong. Even though their own numbers this season and especially over the past 4 games are SHOWING them they're wrong.

This is like the worst version of Nate Silver. This is the reason statistics are always so slow to show change, it's not the numbers it's the people analyzing them who refuse to see what the actual numbers would show them if they would take off their biased glasses and actually EXAMINE the numbers.
