I have the #2 pick this year. I'm pretty sure im doing with McCoy, but im also looking at Rice.

What would you rank the top 3 RBs in a PPR league?

PPR. It's hard not to like all 3. McCoy looks like the weakest based on last year's stats, but I could easily see him getting those reception totals back up. In a PPR though...I'd go Foster, Ray Rice, McCoy just based on the fact the Eagles have more offensive weapons and I think Rice is a safe choice to get more receptions.

We have avg to good players. Been playing with the same guys for the past 3 years.

After those three, I think you can go Ryan Matthews, Chris Johnson, or Darren McFadden if you don't like Rice. I think you'll ultimately have the choice of Rice or McCoy at #2. Either way, you don't leave without Aarian Foster or McCoy.

I got pick 6 in a 10 team PPR league and RB,RB,RB,Megatron and Rodgers is the projected top 5. I have no real clue who to pick at this spot this year. I would really love to get Brady :ahh: but most heads think he will or Brees will be back around for my 2nd pick. These RB's at that spot are all shaky i'm thinking I may have to go Mathews and another RB then just wait it out and get Cam,Romo or Vick in the 4th-6th round range.

Brady and Brees definitely won't make it back to you. They'll probably be gone by the end of the 1st round. You could certainly go Brady at this spot if you really wanted him. If not, go Matthews. I think Brady and possibly targeting Matt Forte, Trent Richardson, Larry Fitz or Andre Johnson in the 2nd/3rd would be a good strategy. Steven Jackson if available as well in the 2nd.

Yeah I can't justify passing on Brady for those unsure RB's at that spot.

I would like to go

Round 1- Brady
Round 2- RB
Round 3- RB
Round 4- WR
Round 5- WR or RB
Round 6- WR or TE
Round 7- WR or RB

WR is mad deep this year so i'm not really sweating getting good quality and I usually come through and get a couple of middle round sleepers. :win:

The RB's get weak real fast in PPR I just want cats that can catch the rock and maybe sneak some TD's in here and there. What you think about Sproles this year? He finished #4 RB in my league in scoring I see him lingering around where i'm picking round 3.

Matthews better pan out or your gonna piss off a lot of mother fukkers in here.

Last year I got snubbed with RBs in one league. I never believed in handcuffing players until last year. I always liked the fact that if I had someone else's back-up and their star gets injured, you got a diamond in the rough.

I got burned and my 2 stud RBs got injured early on. I was basically rotating RBs from the waiver wire in and out on a week by week basis. That team started 2-5 and won 11 straight to win my league championship. If you make smart decisions within the RB trend you can survive. You can take those risks on players like McFadden and Matthews.

People get caught up in drafting players by value for their bench. Draft your bench around your team. I always like to start my bench off with the best RB/WR available. Always handcuff injury risk RBs. QB is optional based on first selection. WRs are where you should search for your sleepers. RBs too after you handcuff your players. If you invest in a high pick with McFadden go get Goodson too. He's a late round pick and well worth the investment.

All in all, if you protect yourself those picks shouldn't burn you if they go wrong.

There is actually a decent amount of RBs who can catch. Reggie Bush should be available in round 3. Sproles might be gone in round 2. Some people are shying away from Roy Helu right now. I think he should be your round 4 target. He'll get a lot of catches out of the backfield. Jamaal Charles in round 3 should also be there. He'll get a decent amount of catches out of the backfield. I wouldn't take him any sooner.

Fred Jackson would also be a decent candidate for round 3.

I don't recommend drafting positions by round, just by best available.

What are some RBs i can get a little later, like after top 15 RB...I like Bush this year as well...looking for some RB with receptions in my PPR league...of course Sproles, but I have a feeling a lot of teams will be targeting him

Just moved to San Diego. Hopefully they turn things around. I see big numbers out of that offense this year. I'm going as high as Ryan Matthews at #4 overall.

:ahh: enjoy it out there breh, got fam in SD, probably my favorite place to visit in the country...hope to end up out there for good at some point

GF gotta job. Had to jump on the opportunity. Gives me a great chance to get exposure for this writing. Even though back in CT I lived 10 mins from ESPN, its impossible to get a job there.
