I might go see it though. Got to support the only black actor in the movie
That's a funny reason, if you really want to support him that bad wait for creed. However thinking about it now having that dude from the wire say "where are my children", micheal b playing what was a white character, mara being the adopted one are all tailor made excuses there to be used when this thing flops hard

*calmly walks into the Fox movie division corporate boardroom and turns on the powerpoint :jawalrus:*

*speaks clearly and matter-of-factly*

"Some people denigrate Rotten Tomatoes and dismiss the movie review website as more pedantic than practical. And to an extent, I happen to think this is true. Rotten Tomatoes does involve too many professional movie-waters critiquing movies with oh too many words. The average movie goer is more casual, appreciative and simple than the professional. Nevertheless smart people tend to get things right most of the time, even when we wish they didn't, and when smart people's combined presumptions begin flirting with the objective truth (i.e. casual movie ratings and our money), we have to take note.

In other words, RT is a good barometer for how good (or poor) a movie is. Movies that get collectively high ratings tend to be great-and oppositely movies that get periliously low rates--like our very own Fantastic Four--tend to be poor. Now, action movies like Fantastic 4 can still be good movies without a high RT rating, but a low rating tends to eliminate the possibility of the movie being "great" or "exceptional". So at best we can expect a merely "good" Fantastic 4 movie--not a great, exceptional or amazing one--that will generate modest earnings :jbhmm:. This, brehs and brehettes,...."

"Is not good enough at Fox. :beli:"

*gazes intently at the anxious office onlookers in the Fox boardroom*

"At this early juncture the employment status of all here--except for me of course--is in question. :ld:At Fox we expect excellence. No, we demand it. And a low rating for Fantastic Four, with all the following and fanfare it, is unacceptable. :demonic:"

*squints and glares at the corporate planners in the boardroom* :leostare:

"Adjustments will be made."

Yup. Too many people take critics as gospel, like they aint just humans who arent susceptible to hype and fan boyism.

The media and fan boys have been frothing at the mouth hating this movie before they saw one scene.

Im not saying it will be good, but ill make my own decisions thanks.
Yea I feel you, but it's at 8% breh.

His last name was originally Domashev, but they changed it back to Doom, so this joke doesn't even make sense now

THEN VICTOR VON DOOM IS INTRODUCED AS A UNSHAVEN GUY WITH MESSY HAIR PLAYING VIDEO GAMES AT HIS COMPUTER SURROUNDED BY JUNK.

this looks like a pile on fiasco.

I'll wait for Coli Reviews

Looks more like a movie with 100 issues isn't very good

The Fantastic 4 just isn't that popular, very few reviewers are fans of it like they probably would be for something like x-men or batman. So you have to make them care by making a really fukking good movie, that's how Marvel made Iron Man the biggest superhero out there when before 2008 even comic book fans didn't care about him. They had 3 chances with F4, its not happening.

Thats semi true.. The incredibles is basically what a fantastic four story should be... they are family .. dont treat them like a group of strangers who are on a team. (xmen) ..

I think Marvel needs this back .. there got to be a arc or TPB or graphic novel or something they can use as source material....
