Didn't Disney just drop him from one of those Star Wars anthology movies? Dude must be trying to only do indies for the rest of his career if he's pissing off 2/6 of the major studios.

You got Trank literally admitting to the movie being a wreck as he cops pleas on Twitter desperately trying to salvage what's left of his rapidly declining career yet people still want to insist on saying "It can't be that bad"?

I mean, if you want to make up your own mind about it, that's fine (I'll probably check it later tonight) but let's not pretend the signs weren't everywhere on this one. But certain mahfukkas had to keep insisting it's Marvel Studio bias that had people turning on this movie like this shyt didn't look like it was gonna be a trainwreck the moment it left the station.

Given that the Fantastic Four origin story has already been done once, it would make sense for this reboot to get its skates on and hurry up with getting to the good stuff. And that’s exactly what it doesn’t do: for one, it takes far too long to assemble the titular quartet, with Michael B. Jordan’s first screen appearance not occurring until over 20 minutes into the movie, and it taking another scene or two before he actually gets recruited into the team.

Collider also has stated that theyve heard credible rumors that Fox at the last minute cut 3 major action setpieces from the movie to reduce the budget, which created the need for the additionally rumored 40 pages of script rewrites and reshoots.

Sure Trank was definitely uncooperative on set and it's his own fault he was dropped from Star Wars. But there's no way Trank's movie would've been worse than fukking 10% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Fox cut his movie's balls off then forced him to remake them out of patchwork quilt. And now Trank's name is dragged through the streets.
