Who are the new guys making real stuff? Not just throwing out remix-y type joints here and there.

Who are the next Misch's, IAMNOBODIs, Joachims etc. People with full EPs or albums. It feels like maybe a year to 18 months ago we were in a good place, but now SoundCloud is just diluted.

There's Chris McClenny, Herring Franky, Keem.The.Cipher, ntourage, Nu Vintage, OTelsa, K, Le Maestro & Lord Slick.

A lot of those dudes, other than Nu Vintage, don't have actual EPs or albums, but their soundcloud page is full of stuff. However that can be blamed on how our generation consumes music now. Most people don't even listen to albums anymore. Most people's method of music delivery is spotify and soundcloud, so you don't need to release any music officially. Just upload and tweet out.

Thanks. The bolded sucks. Honestly I come in here and I dap when you post, but I honestly only give 5-10% of the shyt you post a quick 15/30 second listen because it really doesn't feel like it used to.

It used to feel like SoundCloud was filled with up and coming, emerging producers who really wanted to showcase their music and what they could do. You could stumble on a guy, he'd upload 5-10 tracks then have an EP or album.

Now it just feels like I'm listening to random, semi-professional if not amateur beats, remixes and blends that some rando made in his/her bedroom.

It kinda sucks, but I really feel like I'm done with this "scene", as much as I loved it.

I mean, even dudes like ESTA. seem to have stopped progressing or releasing stuff. Like people just wanna pop, make a remix that's heavily streamed and "DJ" off the buzz.

Yeah. It was a good run, and I love nothing more in life than discovering new and good music, but I think I've gotten to the point where unless I get solid recommends from people like you and others, I'mma stick with who I know and just keep it movin'.
